DALLAS -– Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle spent a lot of time during training camp discussing his team’s depth.
Monday night against the Houston Rockets, that depth was on full display.
The Mavs’ reserves outscored the Rockets’ reserves, 64-45, in a game Dallas won, 123-104, at American Airlines Center. The reserves were full of energy and kept the Rockets back on their toes.
“We’ve talked about our deoth and it showed tonight,’’ Carlisle said. “There were a lot of good things that happened.’’
Off the bench, the Mavs got 20 points from rookie Jae Crowder, 15 from Vince Carter and 10 from Brandan Wright.
