With Dirk Nowitzki sitting this one out, the Dallas Mavericks trail FC Barcelona Regal at the half, 42-40, in a preseason game in Barcelona, Spain.
Nowitzki will not play today because of a sore right knee.
Chris Kaman lead the Mavs with 12 points and nine reobunds, and Elton Brand -- he started in Nowitzki's place -- has eight points and two rebounds.
