DALLAS -- Guard OJ Mayo sat out tonight's intra-squad scrimmage with a laceration of his right hand.
The injury occured this past Monday while the Dallas Mavericks were in Barcelona, Spain, to play FC Barcelona Regal, when Mayo fell on some stairs. The five-year veteran had his hand wrapped.
Coach Rick Carlisle said he expects Mayo to play in Monday's preseason game against the Houston Rockets.
Guard Rodrigue Beaubois (sprained left ankle) also didn't play tonight.
