DALLAS -- Jared Dudley scored 16 points and the Phoenix Suns defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 100-94 Wednesday night in a preseason game at American Airlines Center.
The Mavs are now 2-2 going into Saturday's game in Atlanta against the Hawks.
Chris Kaman led the Mavs with 16 points, Vince Carter scored 15, OJ Mayo had 14, Elton Brand tallied 11 and rookie Jae Crowder finished with 10.
The Mavs, who played without Dirk Nowitzki, ran off 15 straight points and led 31-28 after the first period. But the Mavs hurt their own cause by committing 21 turnovers.
