DALLAS -- Dirk Nowitzki isn't the only member of the Dallas Mavericks on the mend.
Center Brandan Wright wasn''t feeling all that well after Tuesday's 99-85 loss to FC Barcelona Regal in a game played in Barcelona, Spain. Wright had been trying to overcome a strained left quadriceps that kept him out of last Saturday's preseason opener against Alba Berlin in Berlin, Germany.
After going 1-of-7 from the field, scoring four points and collecting six rebounds in 17 minutes against FC Barcelona Regal, Wright indicated that his quad was still bothering him.
Guard Rodrigue Beaubois also is still recovering from a sprained left ankle he suffered against Alba Berlin. The injury forced Beaubois to sit out the game against FC Barcelona Regal.
Nowitzki, by the way, has a sore and swollen right knee that forced him to miss the contest against FC Barcelona.
