Carlisle has three bullet points for his team

DALLAS -– There’s two bullet points Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle has been trying to get across to his team.

Well, it started out as two bullet points. But by the time Carlisle finished talking to the media Tuesday, the number had grown to three bullet points.

“I might sound like a broken record: defense and rebounding, defense and rebounding, defense and rebounding,’’ Carlisle repeated. “Containing dribble penetration, defense and rebounding.

“Containing dribble penetration, defense and rebounding. That’s where it’s at.’’
