DALLAS -- Vince Carter watched with great interest as President Barack Obama got re-elected Tuesday night.
The Dallas Mavericks' guard helped raised $2.1 million for President Obama’s campaign when he held a $30,000 per person fundraiser at his Orlando-area home back in February.
“It was a great feeling for the simple fact that I got the opportunity to be a part of it and help out in a little way,’’ Carter said about President Obama getting re-elected. “It was so many people who helped both parties.
“Just to see it, it was just awesome.’’
