NEW YORK -- The New York Knicks snapped the Dallas Mavericks' three-game winning streak Friday with a 104-94 victory over the Mavs on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 31 points, J.R. Smith had 22, Ronnie Brewer 13, Tyson Chandler collected 11 poiints and nine reobunds.
OJ Mayo paced the Mavs with 23 points and seven rebounds, Vince Carter finished with 15 points and Chris Kaman added 14 points and seven rebounds.
Dallas shot just 40.7 percent from the field and committed 20 turnovers.
The Mavs (4-2) play at Charlotte at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, while the Knicks improved to 4-0.
