DALLAS -- Those horrific losses to Charlotte and Minnesota the last two games appear to be eating at the Dallas Mavericks.
To a mna, the Mavs know those were very winnable games that could come back to haunt them with the playoff seeds are doled out in April.
"The attiude in the locker room is we screwed up, we let a couple of opportunities slip by,'' owner Mark Cuban said. "We know we did and we’re going to have to make it up down the
road.
"But this is where we’re at and we’ve got to come back and get this one (tonight) and
hold our own on the road.’’
The Mavs (4-4) host the Washington Wizards (0-6) tonight at 7:30 at Ameircan Airlines Center, then hit the road for games Friday against the Indiana Pacers and Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In a nutshell, the Mavs know they can't keep letting games they should win get away.
"No one's satifised and no one settles,'' Cuban said. "It’ll be one thing if the
guys in the locker room says, “You know, we’re OK, this is where we're at and we’ll
take it.'
"That’s not the attitude in the locker room at all. That’s just me talking to you guys.''
