CLEVELAND -- The Dallas Mavricks used a late 9-0 run Saturday night and went on to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-95 at Quicken Loans Arena.
With the win, the Mavs (6-5) were able to split this two-game road trip. Dallas lost Friday night to the Indiana Pacers, 103-83, in Indianapolis.
The Mavs open a three-game home stand starting Monday against the Golden State Warriors and continues with games Wednesday against the New York Knicks and Nov. 24 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
A three-point basket by Kyrie Irving got the Cavs within 98-95 1:31 left. From there, Chris Kaman split two free throws, 1:16, and Dahntay Jones blocked Irving's drive, which led to a fastbreak basket by OJ Mayo and put the Mavs up 101-95 with 59.7 seconds remaining.
OJ Mayo led the Mavs with 19 points, Kaman had 15, Vince Carter and Darren Collison scored 14 apiece, and Dominique Jones and Shawn Marion each tallied 10.
