DALLAS -- With three games at home this week, the Dallas Mavericks have a chance to come out of the Thanksgivings holiday with a pretty respectable record.
The Mavs are 6-5 overall going into tonight's 7:30 game at American Airlines Center against the Golden State Warriors. That includes a 4-1 record at home, which was only scarred by that ugly 90-82 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Nov. 12.
"The games at home are all important games,'' coach Rick Carlisle said after Monday morning's shoot around. "We've got to get our crowd into it, which I think is a big part of it.
"If we can get our crowd into the game that means we're playing hard and playing tough and doing energetic things, and that's really, really important. It's a big week, but it's one game at a time, it's one day at a time and every day we're trying to get a little bit better.''
This week the Mavs also host Jason Kidd and the New York Knicks on Wednesday, and Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.
