DALLAS -- Mark Followill, the play-by-play TV voice of the Dallas Mavericks, was back on the air for Wednesday’s game against the Toronto Raptors.
Followill missed the past two games after a nasty bicycle accident near White Rock Lake.
Owner Mark Cuban did some good-natured kidding at Followill’s expense prior to the game against Toronto.
“He epitomizes our broadcast team -- take a hit, play through injuries,’’ Cuban joked. “He doesn’t let anything slow him down.
“I was actually kind of surprised he took those games off because usually Mark, he’ll Willis Reed it.’’
Cuban went on to say, “Followill is a fighter. I’m glad he’s back. We just changed his contract so every bike he rides has to have training wheels.’’
