HOUSTON -– Don’t go asking Dallas Mavericks point guard Darren Collison about the Houston Rockets’ glitzy starting backcourt of James Harden and Jeremy Lin.
Collison can look around the Mavs’ locker room and see a starting backcourt of OJ Mayo and Derek Fisher that is a pretty quality duo in their own right.
“It’s a solid backcourt, but we’ll be ready,’’ Collison said after Saturday’s shoot arounbd at the Toyota Center. “I think we’ve got a good core of guards ourselves where we’ll be ready to play and we’ll be ready go to.’’
The Mavs (9-10) will face the Rockets (9-9) at 7 tonight at the Toyota Center.
