Marion suffered a strained right groin muscle during last Thursday’s victory over the Phoenix Suns. The injury forced Marion to sit out the past two games – wins over Houston and Sacramento.
“I’m feeling really good, so I’m ready to go tonight,’’ Marion said after Wednesday’s morning shoot around at TD Garden. “I think I’m going to be all right, especially when I get out here and get warmed up.
“I’ve got these special compression pants on. It’ll be a good game tonight and we hope to start this road trip on a positive note.’’
The Mavs open a three-game road trip tonight at 7 against the Boston Celtics. The trip continues with games Friday in Toronto and Saturday in Minnesota.
