DALLAS -- Shawn Marion isn''t sure if he'll be able to play in tonight's game against the Sacramento Kings.
The Dallas Mavericks' forward strained his right groin muscle last Thursday against the Phoenix Suns, then sat out Saturday's contest in Houston.
"It feels a lot better,'' Marion said after Monday morning's shoot around at American Airlines Center. "I’ll evaluate myself tonight and go from there.
"I went through rehab yesterday and we had a good session here treating it and I feel
way better today.''
Without Marion, the Mavs were able to rally from an 11-point deficit in the fourth period and defeat the Rockets, 116-107. Now, the Mavs (10-10) will host the Kings (7-12) at 7:30 tonight before leaving Tuesday for a three-game road trip to Boston, Toronto and Minnesota.
And the Mavs hope to have Marion back in the fold tonight.
"I went through almost everything today,'' Marion said. "We’re going to see tonight when I get back in.
"We’re going to see how it feels and we’ll go from there.''
