TORONTO -- Going into Friday’s NBA games, almost half the league – 12 teams – were within being three games above .500, or within three games below .500.
It’s called parity, which the NBA loves. That means almost everyibody has a chance to win the league's coveted championship trophy.
“The whole league has become a more even league,’’ said coach Rick Carlisle, whose team is 11-12 after Friday's 95-74 loss to Toronto.” Just look at their records.
“There’s a bunch of teams clustered together in both conferences and it's going to be extremely competitive from start to finish this year.’’
