DALLAS -- San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich clearly understands why his team was able to totally mopped the AT&T Center floor with the Dallas Mavericks last Sunday.
The Spurs led that game at one point in the seocnd half by an amazing 46 points before settling for a 129-91 victory.
"That was Dirk (Nowitzki’s) first night back, everybody was discombobulated, trying to get their rhythm back and figure out how to play with each other again.
"That takes time for that to gel, but every game they're going to get better and better and better.''
Popovich doesn't expect the score to be lopsided when the Mavs and Spurs face each other at 6:30 tonight at American Airlines Center.
"We've been on the other end of that,'' Popovich said. "It won’t be like that tonight.
"It’ll be a very competitive game.''
