BOSTON -- Like his teammates who were there when the Dallas Mavericks won the 2011 NBA title, Jason Terry was upset when all the players weren't brought back so they could have a legitimate shot at repeating as NBA champions.
"That was probably the most disappointing thing coming off a championship,'' Terry said. "Again, a lot of key factor played into (not bringing the whole team back).
"Do we wish we would have kept that team together? You darn right. Have a chance to repeat."
Terry wanted the Mavs to do what the Miami Heat did and add more quality players. Instead, Mavs free agents Tyson Chandler, JJ Barea, DeShawn Stevenson and Caron Butler wound up playing elsewhere.
"You look at Miami, they added pieces,'' Terry said. "They didn’t subtract.
"You wish you could go back and change it, but you can’t. So now we’re going forward. I believe this team we have in Boston is just as talented -- if not more -- than what we had in Dallas.''

Sorry Jason, if you or any other player wanted to repeat, all you have to do, is NOR BE GREEDY for one more year. Sign a contract, 1 year, for same money and fulfill the passion again. I know it is so hard to live on 1 million for 1 year, but I know you, chandler, Kidd, could have done it.
