LOS ANGELES -- Another game, another loss for the Dallas Mavericks.
Chris Paul had 19 points and 16 assists Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Mavs, 99-93, at the Staples Center. It was an NBA-high 13-game home winning streak for the Clippers.
Tha Mavs are now 0-2 on this three-game road trip and dropped to 13-23 on the season. That includes losses in 13 of their last 15 games.
Dallas end this road trip Thursday night at 9 in Sacramento against the Kings.
The Mavs had things going their way as they led 75-65 with 2:20 remaining in the third quarter. But the Clippers seized control of the game they went on a 25-8 scoring spree and led 90-83 midway through the fourth quarter.
Darren Collison led the Mavs with 22 points, OJ Mayo scored 17, and Dirk Nowitzki finished with 15 points in 33 minutes on 5-of-13 shooting.
