ORLANDO -- The NBA fined Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion $25,000 today for public criticism of the referees following Friday's 117-114 overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After the game, a frustrated Marion said: “It’s hard to beat anybody when you’re playing five on eight.”
In the game itself, each team was whistled for 23 fouls. But the Thunder were 33-of-36 from the free throw line, while the Mavs were 25-of-30 from the line.
