DALLAS —The Dallas Mavericks re-assigned rookie point guard Jared Cunningham to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League on Monday.
Cunningham will be in uniform for the Legends on Friday at 7 p.m. when they host the Santa Cruz Warriors at Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco.
Cunningham has played in just eight games for the Mavs this season while averaging two points in only 3.3 minutes per game. In seven games earlier this year for the Legends, the 6-4, 194-pounder averaged 18.1 points and three assists in 37 minutes per game.
