PHOENIX -- OJ Mayo tallied 20 points and the Dallas Maverikcs snapped a two-game losing streak with a 109-99 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Friday night at US Airways Center.
The Mavs (20-27) are now 1-2 on this four-game road trip, which ends Monday night in Oklahoma City.
A jump hook by Mayo and back-to-back baskets by Shawn Marion gave the Mavs a 102-93 lead with 2:15 left.
Besides Mayo, the Mavs got 19 points from Darren Collison, 17 from Vince Carter, 13 from Jae Crowder, and 14 points and 11 rebounds from Marion.
The Mavs committed 15 turnovers. However, from the 10:48 mark of the third period they didn't commit a turnover until Mayo stepped on the baseline with 12 seconds remaining in the game.
