DALLAS -- Monta Ellis tallied 22 points and dished out nine assists as the Milwaukee Bucks stunned the Dallas Mavericks, 95-90, Tuesday night at American Airlines Center.
The loss sent the Mavs (25-31) reeling and seriously crippled their playoff chances. Especially since the Mavs start a pivotal three-game road trip Wednesday in Memphis, which continues with games in Brooklyn and Houston.
Also for the Bucks, JJ Redick scored 14 points, Larry Sanders had 13 points and 13 assists, and Mike Dunleavy finished with 13 points.
Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavs with 21 points and 20 rebounds, OJ Mayo scored 18, and Darren Collison had 12 points and eight assists.
The Mavs got off to an 11-0 start, but couldn't execute again when the game was on the line.
