DALLAS – Rick Carlisle believes this has been such a special season for Houston Rockets coach Kevin McHale that he should receive one of the NBA’s biggest awards.
“They’re very good,’’ said Carlisle, who is the coach of the Dallas Mavericks. “The way they’ve played this year I think McHale should be one of those guys high on the list for Coach of the Year.
“I think he’s done a phenomenal job.’’
The Rockets will take a 33-28 record into Wednesday’s game at American Airlines Center
against the Mavs (26-33).
