HOUSTON -- Dallas Mavericks point guard Mike James said despite the team's 26-32 record, they still have what it takes to salvage this season.
"We have a great opportunity still to do something,'' James said. "Until we’re mathematically out of the equation we still have a great opportunity to do something special this year and we still believe in
that.
"All hope is on our side. The only way that we can continue to believe is to continue to not let games slip away from us, especially when we have the lead.''
The Mavs (26-32) play their next two games in a home and home series against the Houston Rockets (32-28), who currently sits in the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot.
