MILWAUKEE -- The Dallas Mavericks continued their late-season resurgence Tuesday night as they hung on for a 115-108 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center.
With the Bucks inching closer to the Mavs, Vince Carter hit three amazing three-pointers and added a left-handed driving layup that helped propel the Mavs to victory.
The Mavs (30-33) are now a perfect 3-0 on this four-game road trip, which concludes Thursday with a nationally televised game in San Antonio. It's the first time all season the Mavs have won three consecutive road games.
Carter wound up with a team-high 23 points, Dirk Nowitzki collected 19 points and 11 rebounds, rookie Jae Crowder finished with 14 points and eight rebounds, OJ Mayo scored 14 and Mike James had 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists.
Monta Eliis led the Bucks with 32 points and nine assists, and Mike Dunleavy tallied 18 points.
