DALLAS -- At the moment Devin Harris returns from his toe surgery, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban believes his team will have something no other team in the entire NBA has.
A lot of speed in the backcourt.
Cuban thinks when his team will be able to combine guards Monta Ellis and Jose Calderon with Harris, that's a relay team every NBA team will envy.
"When Devin comes back we’re going to have the fastest backcourt in the league between him and monta,'' Cuban said after Friday's practice at American Airlines Center. "And then just the three
of them rotating in there in particular, it’ll be fun.
"I think we’ll be able to push the ball and defend and play well.''
After recovering from a strained left hamstring, Calderon will play his first game Saturday when the Mavs meet the Charlotte Bobcats at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. Meanwhile, Harris likely will not return until sometimes next month as he continues to rehab his surgically repaired dislocated toe.
