MEMPHIS -- There's one thing Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle is looking for when his team plays the Memphis Grizzlies at 7 tonight at the FedEx Forum.
"A lot less turnovers,'' Carlisle said.
The Mavs opened the season this past Monday with 28 turnovers during a 94-92 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. That's way too many for any team.
Especially for a team preparing to play a defensive-minded squad like the Grizzlies.
"It’s a big challenge because Memphis is arguably the best in the league at turning you over,'' Carlisle said. "This challenge is coming at the right time.
"On paper they’re considered to be on the of top teams in the West. So any time you get a chance to play the better teams in preseason I think it’s good.''
