DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks aren't about to take any chances with point guard Jose Calderon.
Calderon was limited in this morning's practice after he was also limited in Wedesday's practice due to a hamstring issue. That hamstring issue is also the same reason why coach Rick Carlisle said he'll monitor Calderon's time when the Mavs practice tonight at American Airlines Center.
"He's going to be OK,'' Carlisle said. "I don’t know if we’ll even have him try anything tonight.
"We've got to make sure he's OK. But it's not serious.’’
The Mavs signed Calderon to a four-year, $29 million free agent contract this past July.
