HOUSTON -- The lack of setting nice solid screens has been a major problem for the Dallas Mavericks during the past two preseason games.
So much so that coach Rick Carlisle made it a point of reference to his players.
"Our screens haven’t been good the last couple of games,'' Carlisle said during his pre-game interview before tonight's game at the Toyota Center against the Houston Rockets. "We addressed it yesterday on the floor and today on film and a little bit in shoot around (this morning).
"No matter what you do in NBA basketball, if you don’t set solid screens you’re not going to create a very big problem for the opponents, and so our screening's got to be better. And we've got three games left to try to clean that up and do better with it.''
