DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks will receive e a huge preseason test Wednesday at 7 p.m. when they travel to Memphis to face the Grizzlies at the FedEx Forum.
The Grizzlies are one of the NBA's top teams, having advanced to last year's Western Conference Finals where they were swept by the San Antonio Spurs in four games.
Over the offseaosn, the Mavs drastically overhauled their roster, bringing in nine new players. Games like the one against the Grizzlies will tell how much the Mavs have improved since last season.
The Mavs sure have to protect the ball better after turning it over 28 times during Monday's 94-92 home loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
"We've set ourselves up to make big improvements,'' coach Rick Carlisle said. "Tomorrow is one of the tougher teams to play because Memphis really does a great job of turning you over.''
