INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Pacers will be without starters Roy Hibbert, David West and Paul George when they host the Dallas Mavericks at 6 tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
But doesn't necessarily mean the Mavs (1-2) will have an easy time dethroning the Pacers (0-3).
"They’re so deep,'' coach Rick Carlisle said. "At this point in the year you see a lot of teams really doing things that are system-type things and not doing that much sort of a detailed game-planning for personnel just to try to see how their system stacks up against some great players.
"This is another opportunity for us. We’re trying to get ourselves healthy, too. Every day counts.''
Hibbert and West won't play tonight because the Pacers are giving them the night off. George, meanwhile, is suffering from bronchitis.
