ORLANDO -- This is DeJuan Blair's fifth NBA season. And something happened to him Saturday night against the Orlando Magic that had never happened before in his career.
In an effort to get back into the game, the Magic intentionally fouled Blair on two occasions in the fourth quarter. The Hack-A-DeJuan didn't work, since Blair converted three of the four free throws afte rbeing intentionally fouled.
But Blair was thoroughly amused by the tactic, saying: "I don't know what the (heck) happened. They started hacking me at the end.''
Blair finished with a season-high 18 points and the Mavs prevailed, 108-100, to run their record to 6-4.
