DALLAS -- Saturday's 112-106 loss at home to the Minnesota Timberwolves proved that the Dallas Mavericks have a lot of work to do defensively.
The Mavs have allowed at least 100 points in 11 of their 18 games this season. And in two other games they allowed 99 points.
"At times I have seen some good things and at times I have seen some bad things,'' forward Shawn Marion said of the defense "It seems like sometimes we can't put together a good four or five stops in a row, and that's what we need.
"We need some chain stops instead of just one good one. We just have to stay with it and help each other.''
