HOUSTON -- Dallas Mavericks point guard Jose Calderon received a scare early Saturday night in Phoenix when he collapsed to the floor after being kneed in his back by Suns guard Eric Bledsoe.
Calderon stayed in the game, but played very ineffective in a contest the Mavs lost, 123-108. However, he said after this morning's shootaround at the Toyota Center that he's feeling fine and will be ready to go when the Mavs (15-12) face the Houston Rockets (18-10) at 7 tonight at the Toyota Center.
"It's actually better than expected,'' Calderon said. "I can move and the day off (Sunday) was good.
"(Bledsoe) just hit me with a knee on my bone here, so I just went down. But it's better now.''
