MINNEAPOLIS -- Wayne Ellington missed practice today at the Target Center. But the Dallas Mavericks' guard was expected to arrive here sometimes today.
Ellington sat out Thursday's home game against San Antonio and Saturday's game at Chicago while dealing with a stomach illness. The Mavs are hopeful that he'll be able to play in Monday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
"He’s on the way (to Minneapolis),'' coach Rick Carlisle said. "He should be landing right about now.
"So he's going to do a little bit of shooting and a little bit of stuff back at the hotel, but he’s doing better. The hope is that he’ll be available for tomorrow.''
