DALLAS -- Brandan Wright tallied 19 points and the Dallas Mavericks blew out the hapless Milwaukee Bucks, 106-93, Saturday night at American Airlines Center.
The Mavs snapped a two-game losing streak in this opener of a three-game homestand which continues Wednesday against Memphis.
This was the Bucks' eighth game over the past 12 days in five different cities, and they went 2-6 during that stretch. All eight games were part of four sets of back-to-backs for Milwaukee, who own the NBA's worst record at 5-19.
The Mavs (14-10) played without superstar forward Dirk Nowitzki and coach Rick Carlisle. Both men were home with an illness.
Besides Wright, the Mavs got 18 points from Jose Calderon, 13 points and 12 rebounds from Shawn Marion, 15 points from Vince Carter, and 11 points and seven rebounds from DeJuan Blair.
Brandon Knight led the Bucks with 16 points, Giannis Antetokounm had ???points, and ex-Mavs guard OJ Mayo had just four points on 1-of-6 shooting in 15 minutes.
