DALLAS -- Coming off two straight disappointing losses on the road to the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors, the only way the Dallas Mavericks can make up for that is to make a clean sweep of this three-game homestand.
Especially since the homestand consists of three teams -- the Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies and Toronto Raptors -- who all have losing records and a combined 23-43 won-loss record.
"I can’t even explain how much we need these games,'' forward Jae Crowder said after today's shootaround. "It was a tough road trip, we got (two out of four).
"So these three games will get us back to where we need to be, we feel like, and we’re looking forward to taking one game at a time.''
The Mavs (13-10) host the Bucks (5-18) at 7:30 tonight at American Airlines Center, and then will entertain the Grizzlies (10-12) on Wednesday and the Raptors (8-13) on Friday. Milwakuee has the worst record in the NBA.
