DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks recalled guard Ricky Ledo from the Texas Legends of the D-League early Monday morning.
In 14 games for the Legends this season, Ledo averaged 14.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.14 steals in 29.8 minutes per contest.
The 6-7, 200-pound Ledo was a second-round draft pick last June out of Providence. The rookie played sparsely in six games for the Mavs earlier this year when he averaged 1.2 points in 2.6 minutes per game.
Ledo did not play any college baskeball because the NCAA ruled he was academically ineligible once he got to Providence. Then the Mavs shipped him to the D-League on Nov. 30 primarily so he could get some playing time.
