SAN ANTONIO -- Tony Parker scored 25 points and handed out seven assists Wednesday night to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 112-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks at the AT&T Center.
It was the Mavs' worst loss of the season and the sixth time this year they've lost a game by 10 or more points.
The loss dropped the Mavs to 20-16 overall and snapped their four-game road winning streak. It also was a terrible way for the Mavs to open a two-game road trip, which concludes Friday in New Orleans.
The Spurs only led 45-38 at the half, but blew the game open in the third quarter when they outscored the Mavs 37-24 to take an 82-62 lead into the fourth period.
Monta Ellis led the Mavs with 21 points and Vince Carter tallied 14 points. Dirk Nowitzki struggled with just eight points on 3-of-14 shooting.
Besides Parker, the Spurs got 17 points from Marco Belinelli, 16 points and 13 rebounds from Tim Duncan, and 12 points and eight rebounds from Kawhi Leonard.
The Mavs were without Shawn Marion (shoulder/ribs), while the Spurs were without Manu Ginobili (hamstring).
