DALLAS -- Monta Ellis poured in 22 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 103-81 victory over the Utah Jazz on Friday night at American Airlines Center.
This was a season-high tying fourth straight win for the Mavs, who increased their record to 30-21 while vaulting nine games over .500 for the first time in almost two years.
It's just the second four-game winning streak of the season for the Mavs. The last one came Nov. 16-22 when the Mavs defeated Orlando (108-100), Philadelphia (97-94), Houston (123-120) and Utah (103-93).
Besides Ellis, the Mavs got 20 points from Dirk Nowitzki, and 12 points apiece from Jose Calderon and Samuel Dalembert. Calderon also contributed seven assists and two steals.
Marvin Williams led the Jazz with 21 points -- 18 of which came in the first half.
The Mavs shot 46.9 percent from the field and converted 10-of-18 3-pointers while also outrebounding the Jazz 48-37.
