DALLAS – Jose Calderon’s status for Tuesday’s game against Oklahoma City is uncertain after the Dallas Mavericks’ point guard was popped in the mouth Sunday by Brooklyn Nets center Mason Plumlee.
The incident occurred less than one minute into the Mavs’ 107-104 overtime loss to the Nets.
“I don’t think it’s serious, but I have not gotten an official word on it,’’ cosach Rick Carlisle said. “He got hit in the mouth -- I don’t really have the details.
“I saw him at halftime, he was in the locker room at halftime. He’s OK, but I think there’s some stuff in his mouth they’re looking at.’’
