DALLAS -- Point guard Jose Calderon went through the Dallas Mavericks' entire shootaround Tuesday morning and will be in the starting lineup for tonight's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Tip-off at American Airlines Center is at 7 p.m.
Calderon suffered some facial injuries less than a minute into Sunday's game against the Brooklyn Nets and did not return atfer he was inadvertantly hit by center Mason Plumlee.
"We were fortunate, it could have been much worst,'' coach Rick Carlisle said. "It''s pretty clear he's got some swelling wherever he got hit.
"He wants to play and all the tests and everything checked out to where it's nothing that he can't play with, so we're lucky.''
Asked if Calderon went through the NBA mandated concussion test when injuries of this nature occur, "Carlisle said: "I don't have all the details. I'm sure he did.
"He had a lot of diagnostic tests and CAT Scans and all kinds of things. We're lucky. If it was the forearm, it may have been the non-bone part of the forearm. So it's a real lucky break that thing didn't get hurt a lot worse.''
