DALLAS -- Dallas Mavericks foward Jae Crowder will have an MRI this afternoon and will not play in Tuesday's game in Oakland against the Golden State Warriors.
However, coach Rick Carlisle said Crowder may be able to play Wednesday in Utah, depending on the results of the MRI.
"He didn't do much today,'' Carlisle said after Monday's practice at American Airlines Center. "He's going to stay back and get an MRI this afternoon.
"We don't think it's serious, but he will not be able to play tomorrow. And then we'll see where he's at -- whether we'll have him join us in Utah or not.''
Crowder suffered an abdominal strain during Sunday's 105-94 win over the Indiana Pacers.
