DALLAS -- Dirk Nowitzki went through the Dallas Mavericks' full practice session Monday and showed no signs of pain after he turned his left ankle late in Saturday's 101-98 win over the Phoenix Suns.
Nowitzki left the game with 2:49 remaining, but returned 19 seconds later and finished the game.
"I practiced today, didn’t miss a beat,'' Nowitzki said. 'I just iced it a couple of times yesterday, took a day off, told (mentor/personal coach) Holger (Geschwindner) the gym was closed, so that was that.''
Nowitzki expects to be in the starting lineup Wednesday in Memphis when the Mavs end the regular season against the Grizzlies.
“He seems to be fine,'' coach Rick Carlisle said. "He practiced today without any issue. All good.''
