DALLAS – Center Samuel Dalembert is still suffering some ill effects from Wednesday night when he turned his right ankle early in Game 5 against the San Antonio Spurs.
Dalembert hobbled off the court with 9:47 remaining in the first period, got his ankle re-taped, and was back on the floor with 7:48 left in the opening quarter.
“He’s doing OK,’’ coach Rick Carlisle said after Thursday’s practice. “He’s sore, but he came down and went through the (practice) stuff we went through.
“I’m sure he’s getting treatment now.’’
Dalembert wound up playing 23 minutes Wednesday and finished with two points, nine rebounds and two blocks while missing his only two field goal attempts.
