DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks have signed Australian guard Chris Goulding to a summer league contract.
Goulding, 25, led the National Basketball League in scoring this year with 22.8 points per game while playing for Melbourne United. He also was the Most Valuable Player of the NBL All-Star game last year.
In addition, the 6-4, 203-pound Goulding has NBL experience with the Brisbane Bullets (2006-'08), Perth Wildcats ('08-'09) and Gold Coast Blaze ('09-'12). He also scored just three points in four games for Cleveland's summer league team last year.
Earlier this year Goulding scored 50 points in a 92-82 victory over the Sydney Kings.
