Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale)

The first Annual Texas Gobbler at Kennedale Speedway Park turned out to be a wild one. In the IMCA Modified feature, several cars were involved in a major wreck on the front straight-a-way. There were no injuries, buy several cars received major damage. Local Nicholas Littlejohn, No. 21, took the early lead. Nicholas seemed to have things well under control, until he had a major mechanical failure. That opened the door for Rusty Trevathan Jr., No. 51. Rusty managed to hold off the field and take the feature win. John Gober, No. 1, was second, Aaron Benedict, No. 77a, was third, William McGuire, No. 30, was fourth and David Goode, No. 13g, was fifth. Ronnie Warren, No. 34w, Jerry Frydrych, No. 13, Erick Miles, No. 65, Jeremy Montgomery, No. 111j, and Richard Walp, No. 26, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty one started the feature.

IMCA SportMod Winner: Bonham Motorsports "Quick" Nick Clinkenbeard, No. 66, showed the field the fast way around the track. Ron Allison, No. 26, was second, Cody Smith No. 31, was third, Chad Ross, No. 77r, was fourth and Greg Frowler, No. 662f, was fifth. A full field of twenty cars started the feature.

IMCA Stock Car Winner: "Flyin" Ryan Powers, No. r12, had the car to beat. Duain Pritchett, No. 22, was second, Kirk Martin, No. 69, was third, Michael Jannette, No. 1x, was fourth and David Goode, No. 7g, was fifth. Nineteen cars started the feature.

Street Stock Winner: Waco's Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 47, was the run-a-way winner. Jason Gant, No. 73, was second, Mark McDaniel, No. 68, was third, Michael Villanueva, No. 20, was fourth and Bob Hahn, No. 79, was fifth. Eleven cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Winner: Tommy Williams, No. 151, held off the field. Tony Ross, No. 77r, was second, Jimmy Doremus, No. 4s, was third, J.D. Millirons, No. 29, was fourth and Tracy Baker, No. 22, was fifth. A good field of twenty cars started the feature. There were several major wrecks. Check out the video below:

Jr. Mini Stock Winner: Cameron Cook, No. 04, was the winner. Cade Fabian, No. 03, was second, Blake Clark, No. 88, was third, Casey Merrell, No. 41, was fourth and Jerrett Bransom, No. 29, looked to have the win, but he hit the wall and ended up fifth. Seven cars started the feature.
