The Lone Star Region ASCS Sprints rolled into Boyd Raceway's "Bullring" Friday night. This was the first of two days of ASCS Sprints races. They are scheduled to race at Cowtown Speedway Saturday night. In the heat races, Eric Baldaccini, #4, Claud Estes, #74e, and Skip Wilson, #65, were the winners. In the 25-lap feature, Brandon Corn, #30, started on the pole and took the early lead. Three laps into the race, Eric Baldaccini, #4, took over the lead and held off a hard charging Sean McClelland, #1, for the win. Aaron Reutzel, #87, Brian McClelland, #25, and Skip Wilson, #65, rounded out the top five. Eric Baldaccini is the Lone Star Region points leader with 502 points.
