Most tracks in North Texas were rained out Saturday including 85 Speedway. However, the speedway decided to makeup the race Sunday evening. As if the weather wasn't enough of a problem for the track, at the end of the heat races, two track employees suffered medical emergencies. One was a judge and two of Cowtown Speedway's judges stepped in and offered their services. After the two employees were taken care of, they were able to get the feature races going.
In the IMCA Modified feature, Shane Killingsworth, #9, battled his way to the front and held off veteran Eddie Prator, #103, to take the checkered flag. Robert Black, #7, the current points leader, rounded out the top three.
J.C. Howell Jr., #103, was the IMCA Sport Mods winner.
In the IMCA SportMods feature, Mabank's J.C. Howell Jr., #103, worked his way to the lead and never looked back. Kaufman's Jeff Turner, #44, was second.
Tommy Davis Jr., #17, was the Street Stock winner.
In the Street Stock feature, Tommy Davis Jr., #17, defeated five Street Stocks to take the win.
Mike Marusak, #45, was the Bomber winner.
In the Bombers feature, the current points leader, Mike Marusak, #45, defeated nineteen Bombers to pickup another win.
Brian Marusak, #45, was the Cruiser winner.
In the Cruisers feature, Brian Marusak, #45, outlasted the field to take the win.
